The rooms at the Emporium Hotel South Bank is a savvy balance of style and comfort. Décor teams sophisticated greys with glittering metallic accents and mirrored surfaces. In-room extras include pillow and pyjama menus, a well-stocked minibar, wine fridge, espresso machine and Bose sound system. In the bathrooms, you’ll find fragrant Molton Brown amenities. We were very lucky that our room also had a balcony that had amazing views of Brisbane.
One of the most memorable features in the hotel’s lavish bedrooms is the gold-framed mirror that turns into a TV at the touch of a button.
Belle Époque, the Emporium’s French-inspired café on the ground floor, offers bistro-style fare from early in the morning until late in the afternoon. Upstairs, on level 21, is South Bank’s only rooftop bar: The Terrace where guests can enjoy sundowner cocktails with a panoramic Brisbane view. A full buffet breakfast is also served daily at the Terrace.
Also located there is a rooftop infinity pool. Other amenities include a fitness centre, a spa where guests can wind down and relax and a number of meeting spaces including a partitioned ballroom with equipment such as projector screens, wireless presentation systems, video conferencing and white boards.
