Founded by Sarah Fung in 2016, HULA is a highly curated online marketplace for pre-owned designer womens-wear, with styles up to 95% off retail.
A graduate of Central St. Martins, Sarah has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, previously designing her own lingerie and swim label in the U.K, which was followed by a 9-year stint at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. When she left Lane Crawford in 2015, she was disillusioned with the amount of clothing waste produced by the industry as well as by her friends and colleagues, who didn't know what to do with their excess clothing, thus she decided to create HULA.
HULA was created to be a sustainable fashion community where members can consign the items they no longer need whilst also discovering the best designer pieces for less. All items are sourced from fashion industry insiders and their contacts ensuring everything is 100% authentic.
Recently, Hula has opened a 3500 sq. ft retail warehouse space in Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong, which features the best edit of pre-owned designer womenswear. HULA will still maintain its online presence, creating the perfect retail experience both online and off to suit your needs.
For those that seek help, HULA offers in-store styling assistance, wardrobe detoxing packages and private shopping experiences where they supply bubbles, light refreshments and snacks.
