FRANCI: THE LUXURY SCARF BRAND FOR THE MODERN MAN AND WOMAN
Scarves are the most versatile accessory that caters to any season. They make for a perfect and practical gift and are also a great way to dress up an outfit.
Created in Hong Kong in November 2018, Franci is a luxury and contemporary chyangra cashmere scarf brand that was designed with intentional social and ethical practices whilst still maintaining integrity, authenticity and purity.
Franci’s founder Surinder Francis, a British-born Hong Kong resident, was inspired to create an item that would go alongside the idea with giving back or helping others in the process. She wanted to create a luxurious, pure fibre, hand-made product that would be produced by artisans (which is quite rare) so they would also be paid fairly for their craftsmanship.

The brand uses the Chyangra goat hair cashmere, known as the diamond fibre, and collects it through the process of shedding and combing. The goats come down from the mountainside in Springtime and their coats are cut short and combed through. It is here and via the natural shedding of the animals hair where the materials are gathered for each scarf.
Each scarf is very carefully produced as the artisans use traditional wooden handlooms to create each product. One scarf is individually woven before starting production on the next one to reduce any waste and it takes approximately 2-3 hours produce one piece depending on design.
From start to finish, Surinder ensures that all her materials used are ethical. She uses re-cycled paper as her packaging and where she cannot use re-cycled paper she uses FSC paper. All products are also certified with the Chyangra hallmark white label, which authenticates the scarf is 100% pure cashmere and it has been made from the chyangra cashmere fibre from the Nepalese or Tibetan Himalayas or the China/Mongolian Plateau Chyangra goat .

The Linear Collection comes in Wisteria Mint, Olivine Amazon and Anthracite White.
