Quattro is a lively Italian restaurant located within Four Seasons, Marrakech. It has an extremely colourful setting with authentic food from the four most southern regions of Italy. Overseen by Paris-based designers Atelier POD, the interior of Quattro showcases the cultural blend between southern Italy and Morocco, reflected by the combination of zellige and marble found on both continents.

Guests can look forward to dining in a sensuous space where the interior provides an intimate dining room setting that evolves throughout the evening: from a romantic Italian feel to a vibrant Moroccan ambiance. Al fresco, guests will enjoy the restaurant’s terrace, providing an impeccable view on the Resort’s fountain.

We had heard a lot about this restaurant and could not wait to try it out. Upon arrival we had a cocktail at the bar which was presented beautifully. The waitress also brought us over some bruchetta and moroccan olives to nibble on as we waited for our dinner table.

The setting at dinner was intimate and romantic. We sat outside and enjoyed the breathtaking views that was the Four Seasons. Within the menu you can find subtle Arabic influences in the dishes: a discreet heritage from the influence of Arabs in these regions of Italy that guests can notice in the signature Sicilian couscous. Other menu choices include succulent pastas, meat and fish made with authentic recipes, or the chef’s signature pizzoli, an crispy Sicilian pizza.

At the helm of the restaurant kitchen stood Chef Marco Terranova from Sicilia, the new culinary artist in charge. Armed with a native understanding of Italian cuisine and an extensive experience in well-known places, Chef Marco knows how to make guests feel compelled to seize and relish the moment. The culinary crew definitely took us on a culinary journey around Southern Italy.

The essence of Quattro’s menu reveals Italian traditions through a distinctive selection of recipes made with seasonal and fresh products. Southern Italy having a rich culinary heritage, the carefully selected creations highlight the flavours of Sicilia, Puglia, Calabria and Campania.

All dishes were presented with delicacy and finesse and tasted very fresh and flavourful. One dish that really stood out to us and would be a definite recommendation to anyone who visits here was the Pizzoli. It was light and airy and the spinach and cheese blended together very nicely.

A definite recommendation to anyone who is in Marrakech. The whole experience from the food and drinks to the wait staff was excellent and definitely memorable.
