BEAUTY HAUL: SOSU BY SUZANNE JACKSON

Blogger-turned-businesswoman, Suzanne Jackson has taken the beauty industry by storm with her must-have beauty line, SOSU by Suzanne Jackson. The brand, despite only being two years old has been stocked by major retailers including Pretty Little Thing, Beauty Bay and Primark (across Ireland, the UK, Europe and most recently Primark USA).

She offers a wide product range that includes The Complete Contour Palette, the Highlighter Kit, The Hot Fire Signature Smoky Eye Palette (all three of which sold out online and in some retailers within minutes!), Luxury Lashes, Faux Nails, and most recently Dripping Gold Luxury Tan. She also has SOSUbySJ which include tweezers, lash glue, lash case, a pro-blender sponge and a spacious vanity case to fit all her amazing products in! 

I was lucky enough to get my hands on The Complete Contour Palette, the Highlighter Kit, The Hot Fire Signature Smoky Eye Palette and some Luxury Lashes! The contour palette featured a range of 6 different shades and was everything you would need to create the perfect chiselled finish. The palette included three cream shades for concealing and contouring, two powder shades to set the creams or use as powder concealer and highlighter, and one highlighting cream. The pigments of these were all amazing and they were very easy to blend out which makes it perfect for any girl to use! The highlighter kit featured 6 different shades and similar to the complete contour palette was very pigmented to make your skin pop!

The Hot Fire Signature Smoky Eye Palette has quickly become one of my favourite makeup items and an everyday makeup staple to use for both my daytime and nighttime looks. It features 8 matte pigments and 4 shimmers in a variation of colours from cream, pink, orange, brown, burgundy, dark brown and more to suit every skin tone! The pigments of this palette were also very good and the colours were very easy to blend out and build up for those who want to create a more intensive eye look.

When it came to her lashes I was very excited to try these out as I’ve seen them all over instagram on celebrities and popular bloggers! The lashes were bold, full bodied and had a jet black lash band which I prefer as it also acts as a top eyeliner! It is cruelty-free and Suzanne uses synthetic fibres which looked very natural! 

Her most recent collection, Dripping Gold Luxury Tan collection has caught the interest of thousands. Her collection caters to all skin tones and is available in three shades, Medium, Dark and Ultra Dark. The medium shade will give you a golden olive tone, the dark shade will give you a deep golden tone and the ultra dark shade will give you an intense deep tone. Along with the three different shades, there is also three different formulas, Mousse, Lotion and Professional Spray Solution which allows customers to opt for the formula they prefer. Each product also contain skin-loving ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins A and E and extracts of superfood Goji Berry that will help to keep your skin moisturised, nourished and hydrated whilst also guaranteeing an even fade upon application. The products are also suitable to all skin types which is very important and is suitable for your face and body.  

The directions on the packaging are very easy to follow and the tan gradually darkens over a period of 7-8 hours and can last up to 5-7 days by moisturising everyday - who wouldn’t want to be Dripping Gold all week?!

The Dripping Gold tan collection is cruelty and paraben-free, vegan friendly and best of all contains no shimmer but still produces a very natural-looking golden bronze that you have the availability to all year round which is perfect because you can get the most PERFECT tan within minutes instead of laying out sweating, getting uneven tan lines or streaks!
